Dear Adam,

Thanks so much for taking the time to demonstrate and explain the Top 3 Fat Loss Exercises.

As you mentioned, I was busy certifying a couple of new Master Trainers at Global Fitness LLC last week, so my hands were a bit full.  As usual, you’ve been a great friend and awesome fitness instructor to step in and help out.  I know you’ve heard me say it before, but I truly believe you have some of the best command of fitness knowledge and bodyweight progressions out there.

Adam, my friend, this is an active place where people are motivated and psyched to learn shortcuts to faster fat loss results.  There’s no doubt that implementing this progressive routine is going to help at least 300 people lose 4-6 pounds this month in a few minutes per day.  Thank you; you’ve made a difference.

Adam, I think it’s fair to mention how impressed I was with the way that you teach your bodyweight to dumbbell progressions when I first saw FuZion.  That is a really awesome program that you put together, and it really serves as a great intermediary for people looking to progress from bodyweight to dumbbell based workouts.

I’d like to introduce everyone here to Adam Steer & Ryan Murdock’s FuZion program:

As a special consideration for my VIP’s, Adam and Ryan have agreed to give away ‘Bodyweight Express’ for anyone who takes advantage of grabbing FuZion this week.  Bodyweight Express is a series of 3 short workouts you can do when you’re squeezed for time and you want to maximize your results.  They’re take-anywhere, calorie-torching workouts that will help you set your metabolism on fire, even on the off days:

I’d strongly encourage everyone reading this letter to take a look.  Adam, I know you’ll help me get everyone where they want to go.  Let’s work together and make sure each person here hits their goals.  Deal?

Your friend and colleague,

Kareem

PS – In this video, you really did a great job explaining how to properly train your nervous system for better results.

Thank you, Adam and Dr. K, for taking the time to add a visual to your great advice. The examples of how to vary and intensify the same movements show a great progression that I plan on putting to use tomorrow morning!

The exercises are awesome, but I don’t think my knees will agree with them–I’ve lost some cartilage, but I’ll figure out a way to get around that situation. Otherwise, the legwork is just right for me, considering the one way to make sure my knees will serve me well is strengthen the rest of my legs.

Again, TY for the set of bodyweight, excercises.

Hi Dr K and Adam,

Adam – thanks so much for giving the demo – I got most of it right from following the written instructions – but it was great to have it perfected!! I might have overdone it at first but woke up the next morning with a really sore lower back that slowly went away by late afternoon to be replaced by really sore legs – I’m not worried about the legs – but the back was a bit concerning – did I do some of the exercizes wrong?

emmanuel

Excellent. Bravo Bravo

Awsome progression Dr. K.

Kym

This was extremely useful. I’m familiar with most of the exercises but I still picked up a couple of points. Any chance of you two doing a joint video?

Cool stuff, Adam! I really like the way you break down the components. If I may so bold, I’d like to help with some of the comments. Zev, have you heard of the Intu-Flow joint mobility program? It may be just what your knees need. You can find the program on YouTube if you want to take a look. Emmanuel, you may have not been keeping your back vertical when you did the twisting or chopping movements. That’s a common flaw in technique. You get to going too fast and you start to lean. Next thing you know, sore back!

Mike

The exercise videos really aid in visualizing the progressions and correct form preferred when following the written instructions. Very useful info from both Dr K and Adam Steer which I can immediately implement in future work-outs. Thanks !

Dr K and Adam,

This was great. Adam you showed how to take a bodyweight exercise and add the dumbbell at various point to increase the resistance and make it challenging and non boring!

This is an example of what Dr K explains in the DEFL 2.0 program on how to learn to build/modify a program to make it work for you.

Since I am recovering from a right rotator cuff injury. I decided to look at the beginner material that Dr K provides that a person can use in preparation for the DEFL 30-Day workout.

I took the Beginner #1 followed by the Beginner #2 followed by the Transformation Mini Set followed by the Heart Rate Spiker Mini Set and made a 4 circuit workout with 2 minute rest between. the challenge was the different work/rest protocols for each circuit so I pretty much used the minute/minute protocol – I don’t have a Gymboss yet!

I even modified some of the exercises that may cause injury to the shoulder. This workout did have me dripping with sweat! I then followed with 10 minutes of 30/30 intervals!

So thank you both for the exercises and the education on how to make changes to the basic movements – Squat, Push, Lunge, Press and Plank. Now that makes me “own” the program and inspires me to do my best – using proper form and technique; it is not only the number of reps and sets that make the changes.

Correction: when I stated: ” the challenge was the different work/rest protocols for each circuit so I pretty much used the minute/minute protocol”, I meant that I do each exercise for one minute and go right into the next without a break.

Dr K and Adam,

You guys ROCK! Thank you so much Adam for helping Dr. K out. It is much easier for me to achieve the correct form etc by having a visual. I love the way Adam breaks things down so well.

I am train for an event next Oct called Tough Mudder. I am going to put this into my workout for now on. I can really see how this is going to help me not just get into shape for this event but how it is going to help me with my weight loss as well. Just to let you know as well Dr. K. I have gone from 304 to 280 in the last 2 mths now and I am still going strong. Thanks again for this great tip. I will let you know how well it works out for me.

John
