Ah, cartwheels, used to love doing them as a kid, and also splits, I was quite good at them too. I'm still quite flexible but not that much anymore, would love to be able to do them again.

I used to be able to play hours of basketball, up to 10 games in a night. I remember trying to dunk, something I used to be able to do from age 18 to about 26. I remember trying to dunk again one time in my early 30s and pulled my shoulder and never tried again. I'm not sure I could grab the rim at this point (I'm 46 now), but that would be something I would like to get to again.

I'm now 50 and trying to maintain the healthiest lifestyle for myself daily. A few years ago I was surprized that I couldn't sit up on the floor, much less get up after that try. I still have strength, but my joints hurt within the movements. I can't jump up more than a couple times in a row. In yoga we have a few exercises which require you to roll over front to back or just lay on one hip -- it's actually painful! My body is so limp and tender, I can hardly support my own weight which isn't too bad. I'm trying to lose 20 more pounds and it's very hard. I already lead a very active and stressful life and the cortisol hormone really plays against my best efforts. But, I'm alive and so I will continue to work at working out! Thanks for all the education!

I\'m not sure I could do cross the monkey bars where you hang from your arms and \"walk\" across. If I can, I bet it would be a struggle, where as a kid we lived on those bars.
