hey everybody,

Great job yesterday!

Obviously, goal setting is important and recognized as important for so many of you to have participated.  You understand the importance of goal setting, and you’re willing to set the bar high – that’s the only way  to do it :-)

If you haven’t had a chance to state your goals yet, you can do that right here:

What Will You Accomplish In The Next 16 Weeks?

In today’s video, you’re going to hear about real-life examples of goal achievement in the realms of life you probably don’t even consider goal-setting for success.  Plus, I’m going to give you a 4 step process I use with all of my goals to ensure they’re success.

have a great day, Kareem

Besides my health goals, the accomplishment to have more control over my anxieties. To be more aware of my surroundings. More aware of the words I use and the behaviors I have.

Hi Dr. K,
This is a little different for me. Using the “SMART” approach to acheive your goals. In the next 16 weeks I want to improve the quality of life for people around me. These will be people I know and people I don’t know. The only way that I can think of ‘measuring’ this goal is by making them smile. I have tried this a couple months ago and it was not as easy as I thought it would be. I hope and will make others feel better about themselves and move closer to there goals.

Dear Dr . At this particular time, my real goals are sort of on hold..four torn tendons ( 2 in each shoulder + a full labrum tear on the R along with knees destroyed in another car accident ) with the added BS of the shoulders being work comp. Have put my fitness pusuits along with weight loss on the shelf . I love your 5 min mini cucuits because I can do them in private ( I’ve been folowed more then once ) . I know excuses and reasons sound simaler but I also a have an NPTI cert and when I left the program at about 325 lbs I had a 23 bmi ( from over 50 ) Shortly after that our area suffered it’s first economic turndown and many trainers were let go and no one wanted the precieved “fat ” trainer I have managed to keep my skills up ….I have kept your program out of all the IN programs because it seems the most complete …anyway enough 7/27 my shoulders get fixed and I plan on using your workouts in addition to my PT. I have faith this will help my weight come down + fitness levels WAY up until then I will keep your stuff “on the shelf ” to be ready for when I can use the full line of work outs ….I have a site for you to check out THE INTENTION EXPERIMENT you might find it interesting
Sincere Thanks

Hi Kareem! Thanks so much as always for the inspirational video! I want to take the time to put some thought into this. I have to run…we’re going camping tomorrow for Father’s Day. This will be a good exercise for me while sitting around the camp fire. :-) Have a great weekend!

Hey Dr. K,

For this summer, my short term goal is to correct all my imbalances and to heal completely my right knee (stretched tendon injury that lasted too long because of my foolishness :( ) before beginning my muscle gain workout in september.

I’m going to follow your advice in your pain prevention videos to reinforce my joints, along to a beginner strength training program to get back in the game and add some DEFL sessions on top of that (when I’m not too burned out, don’t worry :P ) to improve my nervous system.

That should be about it, in september I’ll be ready for Vince DelMonte’s Maximize your Muscle and I’ll be training like a monster, but safely because of my strong joints.

Thanks, can’t wait for the next videos!

Dr. K:
I’m intending to retire from work before the end of this year. My goals are centered around my retirement objectives. I will be happy and productive in the activities (hobbies) I’ve adopted to pursue in retirement. I will spend as much time as possible with my wife and daughter in order to enjoy the simple things in life. I will travel the world I want to see with the primary objective of meeting and appreciating people from other cultures. Most important, I will keep my mind and body active to maintain my health and keep the promise of long life.

Hi Kareem
Thanks for the again great video!!
Talking about goals, wow, I have quite a few running in my life at the moment besides health and physical training. Main one for me is to know myself, as a physical and spiritual being, having discovered so much already, still have a lot ahead of me, and it’s a really exciting time of my life now.
Then I want to help others achieve the same thing, realize their full potential and live life as we all should.

Cris

Great information! I’ve been looking for something like this for a while now. Thanks!

I have been using the SMART system for anti-worry lists, but not combined with the 4 pillars idea! After another 16 weeks of DEFL using affirmations I wont have any worries! It will be early spring in NZ, all the winter jobs will be sorted, without causing any joint strain, due to DEFL!
Being fit and lean I will be looking forward to going into work again with no sign of RSI in my wrists. My improved body image helping me to feel more confidant, I will be happier socializing with people. The concepts of healthy eating and on-going exercise routines is something I can share that is fun and helpful for everyone, without just been another freaky vegetarian..
So much to look forward to!
Thanks Kareem!

Thank you so much for getting me off my rear to finally put my goals onto paper. I had already realized that I had the will power and discipline to stick to your tough workouts for 14 weeks now, and I had already thought, that with planning, I could apply these same skills and new-found confidence to other aspects of my life… it just took you blogging about it to make me do it! (I know you already talked about this in your audio files that came with DEFL, but I never made it through all of the info you provided, so after reading this blog, I went back and read all the audio transcripts!)

I wake up every day and give thanks for all the wonderful things I have: health, a wonderful husband and a fantastic wookie-dog (golden doodle), a comfortable life, a nice house, and the respect and loyalty of my customers. Each morning I review my calendar of goals, check off accomplishments and add new ideas.

Business Augmentation Plan:
End of week 1 6/26: We are excited about the professional bar codes on all our product labels,
End of week 2: 7/3: Our photo shoots ran smoothly and all our new product pics look incredible!
End of week 3: 7/10: We had fun creating all-new target brochures and they look wonderful!!
End of week 4 7/17: XXXX store was excited and surprised by our products and wrote up a good test order for our state. (3 new customers).
End of week 6: 7/31: Our revamped website is so classy and easy to use; we are already getting praise from our online customers.
End of week 7: 8/7: All that work with Google paid off and we are getting 10 times more hits than ever before!
End of week 8: 8/14 We are jumping for joy: sales are so good in store XXXX, that they have reordered and stores in state West wrote up test orders. (7 new customers).
End of week 9: 8/21: Store YYYY heard about us and placed a test order.
End of week 10: 8/28: The new contract manufacturer we found is convenient and really easy to work with.
End of week 12: 9/11: We are really on a roll: XXX stores in state North placed an order for all 13 of their stores , and all other stores are now on monthly reorders!
End of week 14 9/25: Contract manufacturer has offered us credit because of the trustworthiness and regularity of our orders with store XXXX.
End of week 15 10/2: Our online orders have doubled again and store ZZZZ with locations in our state and in state West, has placed an order!
End of week 16 10/9: Store XXXX in state East has placed orders for all locations. Customers love our products and our unique packaging and we are now a regional player! Our personal cash flow has increased tenfold and we are financially secure. We ordered larger production equipment! We ordered a puppy friend for our Wookie.
