Hey everybody,

In the video above, you’ll hear a 5 step strategy that invites fat loss results to skyrocket – sometimes it’s all about the plan…

Set a plan, follow this simple process, and stay tuned for more great videos this week.  We’re going to be doing something very special as this evolves…

By the way – if you leave a comment below, you’ll automatically be sent a 60 minute coaching call I did with Joel Marion as a specially privileged bonus for the first group of people who bought Double Edged Fat Loss through his link during the launch (he’s one of my best friends.)  Anyway, this call is GREAT stuff, and it’s never going to become accessible like this again.  Take advantage :-)

Have a great day,

Kareem

PS – If for some reason,  you don’t automatically receive the coaching call, please contact support at:  http://DrKareem.com/support and our team will get it to you asap.

First! Awesome, sound advice. Look forward to putting it into place.

Per

Sounds great, I’m currently looking how to incorporate the bonus exercises I got through Joels ordering link. Must have just missed the audio so thanks for a new chance.

Lynne Pedersen

Simple and effective instructions for getting over that \"plateau\". Looking foward to implementing some of his suggestions!

Lee

Thanks!

Paula

Great advise. Looking forward to adding it in to what i already do. Thanks heaps.

Robert

Dr K…

I’m on week 6 of DEFL and body fat % is now below 12%, plus packing on muscle like never before. You are indeed covering all aspects of health and energy from a true holistic approach, unlike anything I have ever seen. Great video! I will be the ambassador for those over 50 years of age. I have already referred others that I have met at my gym. Keep on bringing on board your great team experts like Joel and all the others.

Don

sounds good

feroze

Really great yet very simple to use tips which I think can definiitely make a difference.Especially the heart rate spiker and affermations ,simple and useful. Thanks

Elaine

Wow! These are great tips!! Tips I never heard of. I’m excited to get them encorporated with my fat loss goals.

I\’m sincerely interested in adding to my current program and increasing my fat loss.

Bev

I really your appreciate your approach to fitness in general – very clear breaking it down into steps – you really understand the roadblocks some people encounter. Your enthusiasm – as aways – is infectious and motivating – thanks :)

Steve

Have been using the tip and points you have given over the past few months and have leaned down well. Can now see abs kicking in.

Keep up the great work.

sharon

Appreciate that you time frame it – commitment level is higher for a real time period! More to come, yet some good take-aways, thanks!

Vic

Great tips Dr. K — keep them coming! :)

Sheli

good info…looking forward to something new.

Terra Dreven

great stuff! I especially liked the length and strength aspect–yoga/Pilates with weight resistance training!

Hey Dr. K, I love the affirmations!!
I think it’s great that you’ve been making affirmations a part of the fat loss equation. I totally believe that the mental and emotional state of my mind is just as important as the physical actions I take to achieve my physical goals. I’ve only recently started receiving your emails and reading your blog and so far I’ve been loving everything you’ve shared with us – please keep them coming!!

Peter

Dr K,
Thanks. just keep repeating the major principles and techniques. I think it’s beginning to sink in. Great Stuff.

Greg

Great stuff Dr. K! Always looking for new ways to change up my workouts, even if they seem completely different from the standard stuff….I love trying new ways to improve my health! Thanks for the awesome tips!

Hey Kareem,

Great approach to super useful info!

Can’t wait to see what those Heart Rate Spike Mini-Sets are….they sound like a crucial addition to anyone’s routine.

Bernice

Dear Dr. K,

I’m in the middle of week 5 and I’m really enjoying the intervals! When I first started, I couldn’t do two lunges without falling over. Now I can complete the whole warm up and three of the four intervals! I’m building coordination along with stamina and strength.

Thanks for your continued support and guidance!
Being Healthy For Life

edikson

Excellent!!! The best stuff I´ve seen so far

Kym Hutcheon

Kareem: Great stuff, as always.

Particulary looking forward to the heart-rate spiker info. Sounds exactly what those of us chained to a desk need. Would also love a quick set to particularly loosen up the hips and address knee stiffness.

PS: Hey Gerard!

score – I love the first place comment – my pleasure, Tanya :-)

Hey Kym,

Great to see you posting up here!

Sure thing…. I’ll try to work in the knee/hip video soon – try to check out my youtube channel as well – that should help with lower extremity stretches/mobility. Also, I’ll be adding mobility circuits to Month 3 in the Inner Circle when I add the Physical Therapy Exercise Video Database – stay tuned!

have a great day,

Kareem

My pleasure, Edikson!

awesome Kester!

I love that you are practicing affirmations – you’re so far ahead of the curve. Teach others – the power of intention is great, isn’t it?!

Cool – yeah Terra – length vs strength is simple, but incredibly effective. Glad that made a difference for you – we’ll talk some more about this soon…

Gilles

Will definitely try those 5 steps – Thanks

you’re welcome, Paula :-)

Nick

Hey Dr. K, I’m interested to hear more about step 4. The other steps are all pretty familiar to me. With the upcoming release of Joel’s new Extreme Fat Loss Diet I’ve been experimenting with step 2. I know you are a supporter of Joel and his work, however I was curious if his new plan be compatible with DEFL? From my understanding he has Roman creating a special exercise plan that is designed to work synergistically with the 5 day cycle of the diet. Will DEFL be able to mimic the effect of the workouts Roman is designing to go with Joel’s new plan?

Dhani

AWESOME!

This is really insightful. After struggling for a while trying to find something that REALLY works – this is definitely a treasure.

Thanks a lot, DR K

Dom

sounds great…keen to hear more!

Naier

Your enthusiasm and sincerity are inspirational, my friend.
Thanks for all what you keep offering to us.

N

Nelson

Great stuff ! Looking forward to incorporating a great nutrition strategy with DEFL.

Lucy

Hi Kareem, I\’m keen to hear your next bit of advice — I\’m hopeful that all of your techniques will be something I can continue to do for a lifetime … I\’d love to hear how all of your older clients are managing. Thankyou, yet again.
Lucy

Kaye

Thanks Dr.K,
it is, as always, good stuff to hear, now it is up to us to DO!
K

Ahmed

Looking forward to your followup posts.

Cristiane

Hi Dr K
Already got Double Edge Fat Loss, and loving it!!
Thinking now about getting Joel’s program to compliment it, so this call will probably help me make up my mind.
Thanks for everything!
Cris

Foz

Hi Dr. K,

Thank you very much for the Great Tips…

Affirmation is something I’m trying hard to work on, but must add it’s not an easy task to accomplish! Do you have any tips for making this easier to practice?

Thanks- Foz

Foz

Bill Pairaktaridis

Hey doc! Great stuff as always. Loving the program and it’s super easy to adjust to my equipment and schedule. Must’ve missed the audio, as well. Can’t wait!

Katrina Brett

I have just started to plateau after 12 weeks of weightloss so I am looking forward to putting the next 30 days in place.

Thanks

Great sometimes not knowing where to go is the problem.
Always great info from you both

These ideas are great but I will have to do some back-research to find some support for a few of the diet things. Have a pretty sound understanding of the theories,…..but.
My exercise program-compilation is a bit difficult as I have a spondilioses lower back problem and many of the standard exercise movements would be harmful for me. I am a painter and thus sit a lot and am frustrated that I can\’t dig deeply enough into the exercise video info to reach workouts that would suit me. This kind of back NEEDS muscle to help it survive……….! Please help.

Erik

Thanks again Kareem. Any new info is useful!

Aaron

Really interesting. Thank you very much!

neeky

Thanks for great advice Dr K.

Thanks for the advice Dr K. I always like Joel’s advice.

Thanks yet again Dr. K! Looking forward to the audio ;)

Shabana

Simple yet effective strategies to implement.
Look forward to seeing the results! =)

Julian

Thanks Dr K.

Great tips to get you thinking about your overall fitness/fat loss goals.

Joe

Steve

Hi Doc
Thanks once again for all the strategic tips you give to help us all with getting in better shape, instead of working or running to stand still……. Results are the biggest motivator of al and your tips always help my resultsl =)

Danavir

Hey Dr.Kareem!
Great Tips! It’s pretty funny how both Joel’s program and yours are both one month long. Both designed to break through plateau’s and get you results fast. I have to say, i love everything you release and i think i might just get XFLD and double edged fat loss and do as you said. Thanks again for the tips!

Cindy

Very in depth & interesting perspective. A lot of them, especially number 1 & 2 sound like what’s covered in Joel Marions new program (and yours). A match made in heaven?

David A.

Kareem,
Thank you for keeping your teaching style incremental. It’s obvious that you you have volumes to offer, but you are serving it up in bite sized pieces. Not only am I able to savor and appreciate it more that way, but it allows me to feel like we are actually ‘going somewhere’. I am doing my best to learn and to implement as quickly as you are directing. The pace is challenging, attainable and productive.

David

Judy

Dr. Kareem,

Great advice, thanks!

peggy

Hi Dr K, I joined DEFL at the beginning and have really enjoyed learning yourmnew strategies for gaining fitness, in particular the functional aspect. I have been keeping up with Joels updates and am very intrigued. Looking forward to some nutritional advice to comlement DEFL. I love DEFL. Thanks DR K, you are awesome. Peegy

Sue

Dr. K – thanks for the good info. Will implement your strategies for myself as well as suggest them to my personal training clients. Our first month on DEFL has already resulted in fat loss and much more neuromuscular control during execution of all the exercises. Looking forward to more months of transformations.

GibsonGirl

Can’t wait to start spiking my day!
So much information, so little time…

Ro

Looking forward to hearing more about the Mini-sets that spike Heart Rate with practical examples!
As always, great information.

butch kessinger

Looks good. I am going to try it! Thanks for all you do!

Pamela

Thanks. I’m hoping this will help me get started back after hurting myself, getting discouraged, and stopping everything for a couple of weeks.

Kim

For sure I need every tip I can get, and need every strategy I can try. I’m on week 5 of DEFL and have only gotten fatter and gained 10 lb during this time (I’m sure some of the gain is muscle, but there is no denying I am getting FAT). I even had to get larger clothes! I am willling to try anything that might get my body to go in the RIGHT direction. I also need to get the fat gain stopped NOW, as I am starting to look frumpy. I absolutely love the DEFL workouts, but maybe my body needs more recovery time with the program; I’m studying everything these days to see if I can come up with a solution! Sure do love your enthusiasm and care, Dr. K.

Kim

Shelley

I’m looking forward to the mini sets too. I find it challenging to complete the warm-ups and the sets but I am improving slowly. Your support and advice helps enormously!

It’s funny Kareem mentioned the heart rate spike, I have been doing that now for over a year. In the middle of the day, when I am tired, or when I feel I am not optimally burning fat I will: Do a wall hand stand until fatigue, or pull ups, or push ups, or dips, or anything else that revs the whole body. You don’t have to sweat.

I am interested to see how Kareem discusses nutrition for his workouts. I try to use a zig zag strategy:
2 days low to moderate carb intake with 1 day low carb intake.
Or Joel Marions strategy of gradually increasing carb intake till your CHEAT DAY, and then return back to carb depletion.
If your trying to build muscle it is very important to increase your fat intake as you deplete your carb intake (not too much).

Personally I can’t seem to get passed the 11-14 % body fat, hopefully he will guide the way.

So far almost done my second week of DoubleEdgeFatLoss 30 day meltdown and I love the workout. Though I add 25 minutes of cardio at the end of the workout to burn more fat.

Peace
Jamil

Greg

Good stuff. I have Joel’s Cheat Your Way Thin program and it works well. Definitely will have to keep an eye out for his new program when it comes out.

gary worth

Im already working out with DEFL and loving it, again another great video with fantastic ideas.

Norma Smith

Can’t wait to see the mini sets. Desperately looking to get past a plateau.

Amy

Hi Dr K,

I am currently on week 4 of DEFL, so I am currently incorporating most of these 5 steps into my lifestyle already. I find the workouts really exhilarating and somewhat challenging (in a good way). I can definitely see and feel a difference in muscle mass. However, I do not seem to be as successful in the fat loss department. I am looking forward to Joel\’s call so that I can really take the program to the next level.

Bill Stevens

Hey Dr. K,

I just finished my first round of DEFL and have seen some encouraging results. The results would likely have been more impressive to me if I could actually do a better job of completing the ‘giant sets’ more effectively; oh well I try!. Now I’m looking for a change before I go through DEFL again so your 5 step strategy is just in time. Keep up the good work and continue sending us this encouraging information.

Bill S.

woo

Bil

I need to hear about the heart rate spikers. Can’t wait to find out more. Thanks, Dr. K.!

Bs

Hi Dr., Great post and awesome tips, as usual. Looking forward for more. Wish you good health and long life to help people like us, in the times to come. Bs.

Meshel

Great information Kareem! Looking forward to hearing more on the heart rate spiking mini-sets.

Marylin Sanchez

Hi, Dr. K:

Thanks for the 5 step strategy! Especially #3 – I do my affirmations but only am and pm. I never thought about before and after lunch and before dinner! Cool! Writing your goals down and repeating them throughout the day and looking at them does work and does help keeping you in line especially when temptation comes along. Look forward to seeing the spiker mini sets! Thanks again for everything and all of the info.

Kim

Great info! Looking forward to more. Thanks!

Katrina Bieniewicz

As a mother of 4, I welcome the shorter, yet really effective workouts. I am always intrigued and amazed at all the information and knowledge you have had to offer so far. Looking forward to these 5 steps to incorporate into the DEFL program.

Katrina

Marnie

Thanks as always very useful information!

Oak

Thanks for a good program Dr. K.! Just finished Week 4, workout A (2nd time) and should have a new record low weight by Sunday! (CHEAT Day!!!) In fact, I should be at or below the goal weight I set for myself back in January for Mother’s Day, one whole week early! Looking forward to the heart rate mini sets, very intriguing…

The motivation never stops with Dr K. Thanks for putting it all out there in easy terms to understand! DEFL Rocks!!!

Hi Dr. K,

I am looking forward to trying out all the information that you have provided and learning other new tricks.

Bill

Rylee Jo

Keep the knowledge coming and thanks!

I find you information very useful and particularly like that it is scientifically based. There are so many weight-loss “professionals” out there that it becomes hard to decipher truth from fantasy. It is rewarding to see that your claims are serious, effective and based on a well rounded program. You include not just body but also mind, the driver in us all. Thanks.

Sylvi

Thanks for keeping us on the ball, it’s great that we can do mini workouts as sometimes I train on my lunch break which is only an hour, looking forward to those.
Kind regards
Sylvi

Dave

Thanks for the ongoing education. The first 5 weeks of DEFL were awesome.

SJS

Good stuff – look forward to using the info

Cindy Papen-Beard

Thanks for this opportunity, I could use it, I am having trouble losing the weight and inches.

Kareem, you always give great advice. Thanks

Tara Duplantis

Great Thanks!

So this is something that we should incorporate into our DEFL program — can you tell us how we do this? Thanks

Always great information Dr K. Have you tried out the Xtreme fatloss diet Dr K? What are your thoughts on fasting?

Alisa

Great news. Look forward to more information

Teresa

I can\’t wait to get this. Thanks

Kristian

Looking forward to seeing the mini-sets. I’d love to see the results after 30 days.

Brian

Good info… Keep it cuming

Jeremy

Thanks for the tips. Really considering Joel’s XFLD and as it releases in the next few days, I’m sure I will be bugging you to get your opinion on it. For some reason, I feel like YOU are my go to guy when it comes to fitness.

P.S. Haven’t seen lately, How’s the MTV audtion coming along?

Chris

I’m interested to hear more about heart rate spiking, how it is done and what it does for you.

Bob

Hi Dr K
Great help. Diet has been one of my biggest issues. There are too many people out there giving different advice. Your helping me achieve my goals

Franz

I am looking forward to the diet linked to exercise strategy!

Nic P

Great stuff! Can’t wait to see the rest.

Bob

This sounds fantastic! I especially want to hear more detail about the heart rate spiker mini sets- thanks for everything you are doing.

Melyssa

Awesome information, as usual. Looking forward to this weekend, because I’m going to take my time and actual design the plan Ive been slacking off on for so long. You’re a great inspiration! :)

Thanks Dr. K for this motivating information.

Angi

ok….i’m into week 5 of DEFL…love the workouts but have only change my body fat by one percent. Feeling stronger but want to be leaner…. nutrition is an issue as sweets are my downfall. Will now incorporate your 5 strategies. Can’t wait to hear more. Angi

Kim

Very good advice. Setting goals is great as long as they’re attainable. Baby steps gives you more motivation cuz you’re reaching them.

Adrian

Thank you for putting all this lot together.
I have been enjoying the concepts.

Good advice! Thanks

Randy

good stuff!

glad you enjoyed it Randy!

(more to come)

You’re welcome Rhea :-)

You’re welcome Adrian – I appreciate you.

Very nice addition Kim – you’re right. It’s all about having the big picture in mind and then reverse engineering from there.

my pleasure Steve!

Cool Melyssa – it’ll feel so much better when that goal planning of yours is behind you… it’s like wiping off foggy sunglasses.

You’re welcome Bob! …you’re going to love the next post!

Glad you’re having fun Nic P!

Diet linked with Exercise?

that’s like the Grand Finale!

first, you have to enjoy the show :-)

Ric

At almost 52, I’m breaking thru all my plateaus & getting in the best shape of my life & my new girlfriend is loving it too!

You’re very welcome Bob – yeah, focus on only a few things at a time – start with what makes complete sense to you. Develop passion.

Cool Chris – you’ll love what’s coming!

Hey Jeremy,

Definitely take a look at XFLD when it comes out – I’ve reviewed it thoroughly and it’s the bomb!

New concepts, sound rationale, but intense!

Haven’t heard back from MTV yet, but thanks for asking – I’m going to reach out to them today.

Glad you trust me, Jeremy – you should :-)

i’d love to see your results too Kristian!

Make sure to keep us posted, ok?

You’re welcome Ali!

Awesome to hear Ric!

Keep up the great work!

Lori

I like that you get right to the point. Quick and easy.

Glad to hear it Steve! Keep up the great work – you’re very welcome :-)

cool JT – yeah, we’re going to have some fun!

My pleasure Dani! thanks for the input.

You’re welcome Derek!

Sure thing Alyssa – destroying plateaus is a great feeling!

sure thing Steven! you can count on that!

awesome, Teresa! Be sure to share your results up here…

Hey Benny,

You’re very welcome. No, I have not tried the Xtreme Fat Loss diet myself (not trying to lose weight though), but I have reviewed it and know people who have done it. It’s intense, that’s for sure… but it’s incredibly effective! (more to come on how I would modify things, etc.)

As for fasting, when done correctly… it’s glorious! but it needs to be used sparingly and with certain parameters. we’ll get into this soon.

thanks for the great questions!

sure – we’ll get into the integration of all this to DEFL really soon, ok Gryer?

You’re welcome Martine!

Kim

Thanks for the awesome tips…I especially like parts about setting goals and the affirmations. Pretty powerful stuff.

Kim

that’s something we shall have to remedy, Cindy

(Braveheart quote – Mel Gibson)

Hey Sander,

Yeah – this is great for the lunchtime workout – looking forward to hearing about how it all goes!

Tara

Good start, waiting to hear more on the 5 strageties.

You’re welome, Catalina. What a thoughtful and caring comment! I really appreciate you.

You’re welcome Rylee Jo – will do!

Great Bill – be sure to let us know how it all goes.

You’re welcome Jo – thanks for such a kind compliment :-)

YEAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!

You did it Oak – that’s awesome!

You hit your goal, now treat yourself to something special (i.e. a vacation, a dinner at your favorite restaurant, something) – congratulations!

enjoy :-)

Lynn

Great little videos to put on my ipod as instant pep talks!

Lisa Jenkins

Look forward to hearing more about the spiker mini sets. Thanks for all the helpful information!

You’re welcome Marnie!

Really good stuff.
I am however struggling with the affirmations. I know the importance of a positive mind set, but I’ve yo-yo’d a few times and know what I was. Now find it really hard to think “happy” thoughts. Do you have something that I could read to myself everyday to at least give myself a start. I’ve tried saying a few positive things, but end up shaking my head and adding “yeah, whatever” after saying them. Not really the positiveness you’d be looking for. I just think I’m starting from behind and can’t get over the initial hump. In January I was at my goal weight (but still needed to get into shape) and since then because of “super sized” stress put on 20 lbs. Can’t seem to get my mind re-focused on anything other than what I was. HELP!
Thanks for all the good stuff!

Hey Katrina,

You’re very welcome – mother of 4 is just SO busy…. but so rewarding! Imagine what you’re leaving this world because of all your efforts – pretty incredible, isn’t it?

Keep us posted, Katrina – thanks for taking the time to comment :-)

Tamar

Great stuff! I am also looking forward to the mini-set info. For those of us who spend hours (and hours and hours) at our desks, I think this will be a very important addition.

Rene Fernandez

Dear Kareem:

Russ

Im looking forward to this release!!

Rene Fernandez

Very interesting since I am a firm believer in the power of joining the mind with the body. I am sure this tip will be very usefull.

Quinn

Nice. Keep focusing on the goals all the time – yes.

Martha

Hi Kareem!

Love the 5-a-day affermation principal! Good stuff! Thanks for the info., looking forward to hearing more!

Julie

Love all the information, still trying to get started,
the emails are definitely motivating.
Thanks

Karen

Great five tips – especially the affirmations, in writing, orally and thruout the day and night. Presently on Cheat Your Way Thin – but think I may cackle pretty soon and start laying my own eggs to cook for breakfast. As far as recipes – I think each one should say how many it feeds and the calorie count, just to get an idea approx. calories consuming. Re exercise – have had problems getting into it – first – back problem, second – a severe virus that laid the household low for a few weeks – almost recuperated. Don’t have an I-Pod or a LapTop – so how does one follow you at a gym without these? Have to rely on hardcopy or do what I can at home with dumbells and body resistance moves. Also found I was getting so much info to read and look at, end up with little time to exercise. Just when I get a program read and ready to start, there’s another one to read up on and maybe purchase. I feel rather overwhelmed. You are doing great though and you’re not too bad to look at either.

Jur Jan

Hi Dr. K.

I’m interrested how to incorparate the techniques from Joel with DEFL.

Salvador

Hey men, that’s exactly what I needed because I was aiming in the structure of my workouts but really not focusing big on my diet, now I will structure this playing with the carbs the way you suggested, and im really excited about those mini circuits to spike the heart rate.

Thanks a lot!!!

Salvador
from Mexico

Janice A. Willis

Thanks for continued tips — love the idea of the heart rate spiker mini-sets to break fat loss plateaus. Looking forward to getting details. Already have had success with the 30/30 concept — love it!

Karen

Link broken on the coaching call. Copied & pasted as instructed – no go

Steph

I’ve been using affirmations with EFT for a long time and am really glad to have specific affirmations for DEFL. I just have one question. If we try out Joel’s new program, will we be able to use DEFL with or instead of John’s workouts? Should we do 7 workouts per week?

Natalie

I had to smile when reading Karen\’s post…..I am experiencing EXACTLY the same issues that she is! Also, no ipod, so have to rely on hard copy. It also takes me a really long time to download the videos which is a source of great frustration to me. I also find that we are being bombarded with all the great material from Dr K, Joel, Vince, Roman etc, and spend so much time going through all the stuff, leaving less time to exercise.
I also have the same issues about CYWT recipes from Joel. However, the recipes are really good, several are now favourites!
That being said, I think the advice from all these guys is great, but it\’s time we actually get the time to implement one at a time without a constant influx….talk about overdelivery!!! I SO also feel overwhelmed right now:-)

kenedy

hello hello call!!

Vikie

More great info…thank you so much !! Already implementing a lot of yur stuff into my workouts and have lost 7lbs that I haven’t been able to shift any other way !! I’m 52 by the way so anyone out there of the ‘maturer’ type who thinks you can’t lose weight after a certain age….think again !!! Keep the info coming !!

kenedy

Wow i need to know those tips!! thanks….

Sherry

I’m doing the heart rate spike this week. We’re up at Tahoe for my husbands 65th birthday. We’re on the 5th floor and I take the stairs. That would get my heart going at sea level but at Tahoe 6000′ + it’s a killer.

gdougie

Dr. K: another well-done and concise video .. however wouldn’t 6 steps be more likely to produce useful results .. the new step 1 being “determine your why” as in “why are you doing this?” “why will you continue no matter what?” or “what’s really in it for you?”

Just a thought,
gdougie

nelson

thanks for this video really liked and im gonna start following this 5 step strategy

Mark Wybrow

Thanks for the contiueing advice and motivational information. It’s a little daunting at first – the first 2 weeks were more of orienteering type training sessions – getting to know the moves etc. Now it’s keeping up with all the information. & putting it into practice – I have no more excuses and I am loving the new workouts

Keep up the great work

Mark

Ryan

The heart rate spike sounds very useful…. bet that one will lose bf better with that…. nice

Johna

Great, as everything you have taught us. Keep iy coming

Andrew

Excellent advice, I\’m sure this will help alot with my current fatloss objectives.

Steve

This is Great Stuff!

Paul

Thanx 4 the great info as always.
Paul

Dr K
Have been working on elliminating distractions for the first few weeks just to get through the material before starting. Started in and realized what a beginner I am regardless of what I\’ve done in the past. Thanks for the mini beginner sets. 56 going on 57 with a couple physical challenges but doing what I can (hate even saying that. Sounds like a cop out sometimes) and moving forward. Bottomo line – kizan principle – a little bit more and a little bit better each day. May not fly to the head fo the class but nevertheless this turtle is mnoving forward and not sitting still.
Anything you can add in the way of ninis and shorts that can be worked in over the course of the day at the office is awsome. I\’ve got my \’befores\’ and looking forward to sending my a\’afters\’ thanks to you.
Bless you

Dr K.
Thank you for sharing the information .

Bruce

Heart rate spikers sound great; I can’t wait.

Cari

Dr. K
Your information has given me a different outlook at fat loss. It gives me hope to be able to do it rather effortlessly. Thanks!

Kari

I like the way you’re breaking things down into “do-able” steps. And I’m really impressed with the science of what Joel is presenting. I look forward to hearing more about it.

Jenn

I love how excited you are about fat lose and helping people change their lives for the better. Your enthusiasm is magnetic and an encouragement.
All of the info is amazing, brilliant sound advice, some real advice we can all use in staying healthy.
Thank you for all the great stuff and inspiration.
God bless,
Jenn

Willi

Dr. K. –
Fantastic and motivating. I’ve been trying to keep up w/the workouts and Joel’s “diet.” Hoping to get my head around his leptin controls – kinda confused, but wanting to learn so, I can incorporate…don’t want to be “The Fat Dad” at my son’s games.
Keep the videos coming – great inspiration!

Schisandra

I\\\’m looking forward to implementing your suggestions – Many thanks!

You’re So sweet Jenn – thank you.

I am excited – and you should be too :-D

James

Dr K.,
Thanks for the great review, and the new ideas.
cheers James

Karen

Dr. K – I think Natalie and I are disappointed you haven’t replied to our comments. Haven’t heard anything about the broken link either. On DEFL – was disappointed that, after 4 weeks, there was still no beginner guidelines. Sorry to be such a complainer – but really want to get going on this without hurting myself.

frances

stuff i sort of knew but didn\\\’t learn how to apply, you
make it simple, i can do this!

ValP

Hey Dr. K,
That sounds great. Thanks for the info. I can’t wait to see the things I can do during the day to get my heart rate up. Thanks.

Chris

Karen Sunderland

thanks, looking forward to the call

Nick

Dr. K, not sure if you missed it in the insane popularity and responses this post received, or if you haven’t gotten to it yet, but I had a couple questions. I’m going to repost them since I’m sure there are others who will be interested. Thanks.

I know you are a supporter of Joel and his work, however I was curious if his new plan will be compatible with DEFL? From my understanding he has Roman creating a special exercise plan that is designed to work synergistically with the 5 day cycle of the diet. Will DEFL be able to mimic the effect of the workouts Roman is designing to go with Joel’s new plan?

i do like it when you break things down to make them simpler i have no trouble with motivation and have work out regularly for quite a numer of years its the results that am having problems with so i need structured mayby even tailored exercises so thats why i enjoy this program

Hey Karen,

Don’t be disappointed – I’ll try to get to everyone’s comments every time, but I can’t promise to… despite how much I love your enthusiasm, I also love to get outside and walk my dog, visit my parents and cook them dinner, create bonuses for you guys that totally rock, add ridiculously awesome content to the Inner Circle, and treat patients and clients…. on the other hand, for those requiring increased personal assistance, I am getting ready to launch an invite-only high end coaching program ($297/month with 4 month minimum – application and invitation required)… that said, attitude is #1 for me to consider. (meant with complete respect, but I only want to work that closely with super positive people – same thing in person!)

Ok, so onto your thoughts…

1) There are beginner circuits up there – just login and check the first page.
2) Pace yourself. Even if you buy everything, you don’t have to do it all at once. Do what feels right for you. If you already believe you’re on the right track, it’s distinctly possible you don’t need anything else, or that you could save it for another day.
3) Sorry to hear about the virus – sounds brutal! (sounds like it’s good that you didn’t start the beginner circuits sooner, despite your enthusiasm, as this could have led to further illness)
4) I appreciate your compliment of the way I look ;-) …I do my best :-)
5) Take a deep breath. Don’t feel overwhelmed. Instead, feel empowered.
6) The PDF’s all have pictures on them with all the workout moves, along with instructions for the exercise taken directly from what I said. I had this done intentionally for someone in your position. These can be printed out and go anywhere with you. I’ve made this as easy as humanly possible, to the best of my knowledge.
7) Never forget – take action first, educate second. It’s fine to spend a couple days familiarizing yourself with everything, but after that, there’s no excuse. Move forward and be positive about your exercise program. Don’t try to perfect it before you even get started, or you’re likely to feel overwhelmed and confused.

I really hope this helps you, Karen (and Natalie) – I’m here to be your support system, but make sure to stay positive and take action. These are the two most important points.

have a great day,

Kareem

Travis

Great information.

Caroline

Great! I need too loose just a bit of “love handels” just listened to the info from my transformation domination about more fish oil…so look forward too your info..just did a blood analysis need more fat and B complex – apparently a bit stressed so who knows…maybe this will help!:)

Michelle

Thank you!

Norah

Dear Dr.K,

once again you have done it, thank you so very much, you must be an angel.

best regards

Norah.

Jane

Great reminders Dr K. Not only in the video, but in the comments and your response to them.

Thanks!

Bob B.

I am in the middle of P90X right now and plan to finish that first before I start on DEFL. P90X has been very effective, so I am looking forward to a different approach to try after I have finished this one. Thanks for the information.

Karen

Dr. K – Thanks a heap for your in depth reply. I guess the key word for me is ACTION – Just do it! Stop reading and analyzing, etc. etc. etc. Will check out beginners circuits. Haven’t been on the DEFL site lately as overwhelmed with e.mails from all you guys and definitely fealt overwhelmed.
One more question: Is there a way to stop your e.mails and re-start for individuals going on vacations? Thanks again.

laura

can’t wait to use the information! so excited!!!!!!

Rebecca

I got Joel’s program earlier today. Of course I got yours two months ago. I’m really looking forward to implimenting all this even further than I already have and changing my life!!!!

Thanks, Dr. K!

Mohammed

Great information! Look forward to incorating them into my routine.

Mohammed

Great information! Look forward to incorporating them into my routine.

stacia

can’t wait to see heart rate spiker mini sessions for when time is at a premium

Sheila

Glad to hear some great recovery/healing and functional information. It’s so easy to get an injury when you have no real in-depth training, like most of us just trying to figure out what really works.

cheryl lacaillade

Looking forward to hearing more from you!

Great reminders Dr K. Not only in the video, but in the comments and your response to them.

Thanks!

David

Really good advice. It reminds you to look at targets in short time periods and not get depressed trying to see into the far distance of the eventual goal

Griffo

Hello Dr. K!

After one month of trying to lose excessive body fat, it seems I’ve hit a plateau. It seems as if the numbers were engraved in the scale, without any intention of dropping further :-( .

This is something I’ll give a try, because I believe it will confuse my body and let me achieve what I want so much…

Pamela

Good information for a restart. Thanks.

Yukari Fujii

Hi Dr. K,

I just came back from Japan and I was having a hard time to go to bed. So I was checking your webside. But then, I am still having a hard time to go to bed because I am so excited to learn more about your plan!!! It is already 4:30 am….

daniel hardy

I hold a bachelors in exercise science and have been working out for years so I know when somebody knows what they are talking about when it comes to strength and fitness. And this man knows his stuff, it is incredible the amount of knowledge he has, great stuff

Dr. K,
Really have enjoyed your videos! Some of the terminology you use goes above my head but still enjoy. I am working on quite of few of the principles that you advocate. My problem is not necessarily with exercise but with diet. Even though I try to eat the right things, I probably eat too much of them. Trying to get the right mindset.

Gee

Thanks, Dr. K! Look forward to giving it a try.

Edith

Thanks for those simple tips. I’m in a hurry to try them.

Ann

Dear Dr. K, I am new to your site and love your positive, generous energy. Thank you. Ann

Welcome, Ann :-)

Very glad to meet you – up here, it’s ‘our’ site… your contribution is as important (or more) than mine.

Thanks for taking the time to say hello.

-k

You’re welcome, Edith.

have a great day and please keep us posted,

You’re welcome, Gee.

Thanks for taking the time to say hello :-)

Thank you……

I Twittered on the order of your fantastic giveaway….

This is a great article. Do you own any other document around latest Diet Solutions Workouts?

jason

you always are so positive. it makes things seem easy to do and fun at the same time. thanks Dr. K.

Ryan

Awesome advice. I appreciate all the information

Manuel Manzanero

Hey dr k thanks for changing my life I’ve already lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks!!!

Seth

That third heart-rate spiker mini set is going to be hard to work into my schedule. (Exercise: 5 minutes. Recovery, shower, etc: 30 minutes. Easy enough in the morning and most evenings, not so much mid-day.)

Amazing! I’ve never heard of this information before, not even from fitness instructors at the gym. Thanks so much for the tips, Dr K:D Except, I’m still confused about something. How do you go about creating a nutrition plan based on carb consumption, carb depletion, and leptin modification. What is leptin modification anyway and why is that important? Also, would you recommend interminent, strategic fasting for faster fat loss?

Denise

Well, i’m really interested in the comment you made about “strength and length”? Not sure what it means exactly. I just started your program, but in the past from working out, my muscles seem to get super tight, and I usually end up straining one. Not sure what to do about this! But perhaps the “length” part has something to do with it?

thanks!

Carlos

Great advice Dr. K! Thanks for sharing great information with us. By the way, I’ve been using your ASG program and it is absolutely awesome! Keep being a great human being. :)

lyle

Manifest to address, i like it…

isabelle coindre

WOW, great info, as usual very dense..and the energy you project through your speech talks by itself!.the more you say it will eventually stick. thanks

Hey!! Thanks for the video! As always, Im newly motivated feeling that’s it’s really possible! I’ve only got about 10 pounds to go, but I keep getting off track physically and emotionally, getting more and more comfortable with where I am. I think your ideas can really help– thanks so much!!

Many thanks first for caring then for sharing. Your energy and talent always inspire and motivate me to get on track.

Thanks again Kareem!
I just followed the lead you sent an earlier reply & found your Utube page, & your perfect lunge video that I wanted to send to my niece! Looks like another brilliant resource you are giving us!
Cheers!

TJ

Just started your Ab Strength Guide workouts. They are really good! Did a some with the medicine ball the other day, and wow, that kicked things up a notch.

I’m digging the “Use your mind to overcome your genetic programming” approach.

I’ve been at a plateau for over a year now….haven’t been able to shake off that last 10 lbs of fat flab. I’m optimistic that these 3D routines will break through the plateau effect.

been doing body transformation mini circuit & heart rate spiker mini set for a month now (with weight exercises)& I could see good results, just wish I could fix my diet to get better results. tnx…

moi the great

loved the tip about spiking the heart rate during the day, but what do i have to do to make it “spike”?? and for how long, is it like jumping jacks for 2-3 minutes?

Karla lara

I’ve just started with the program double edge fatloss and I am extremely motivated! Thanks!!!

Sounds intriguing!

Sandi

good advice

Dolores

Thank you so much for all the information!! It’s so true that knowledge is power :)

Thanks

Robyn

Thanks Dr. K! I can’t wait to get started on the fabulous 5 strategies you described above!

Kathy Palmore

Thanks Dr. K for always sharing cutting edge information and giving us exercise programs I can put inot place immediately!

Lisa Q

Really looking forward to hearing about the heart rate spike sets to do 3 times a day. Made me realise I need to look at my goals more regularly throughout the day. THanks Lisa

Hi,
Please send me the interview. IT sounds interesting.

Ana

Dr. K, your such a loving and positive guy. I believe in everything you have to say!….also you have really nice eyes =D

Perry

Dr. K:

I appreciate someone who understands the need for the mental focus (affirmations). That is a very important part.

However – I would like to pass on some information to “riedel” above concerning his “spondilioses lower back problem” and that “many of the standard exercise movements would be harmful for me.”

I’ve got rather significant L5-S1 spondylolisthesis myself been where riedel is – and 5 months ago I could barely function at all – and could only sleep (even with significant pain meds) sitting up in a chair (a few hours at a time), and had bad sciatica in my right leg. While he is right about how you cannot do normal exercises in this condition what he needs are the right rehabilitation exercises to balance out and rebuild his back. Then he probably will be able to do many – if not all – of your exercises.

The best solution I found is from “The Healthy Back Institute” and their “Lose The Back Pain” Program (they will send most anyone a free book that explains why the vast majority of back pain occurs – and why modern medicine usually does not properly treat the condition). I hope you don’t mind my posting that – and I do believe you are friends with its owner.

Now 2 months of exercises after starting using their assessment and targeted exercises for my specific conditions I am too the point where I have started to be able to do other exercises and I have started to add in a few from your (Dr K’s) “Abs for Back” guide (which I consider the next step in fully conditioning the back and trunk to full robustness). The fact is that I’m still in the rehabilitation mode myself – and still have to limit what I can do at this point – and still will not attempt much of the Dr K exercises; But I can see how I should be back to normal function in a couple months (and there is not fast cure from significant back support muscle imbalance and weakness).

Please pass my information on to “riedel”

The key for anyone who has an actual injury is appropriate rehabilitation first – then add in other exercises when you can. While it may be months away before I personally can more fully adopt more of your specific exercises and some of the methods – I do find them to make a lot sense than a lot of other gunk out there. My goal is to add 1 of the “Abs for Back” exercises a week to my Loose The Back Pain exercises until I have confidence that my trunk is solid in all directions again.

Have a great day, and everyone do something great with your life,

diane

Always eager to open your e-mail and learn something new. So much great information. At almost 62, I am determined to be fitter and healthier than I have ever been.

Joanne

Amazing info, thanks Doc!

michael hayward

Thanks man, I totally believe in the affirmation stuff and I’m stoked with the stuff your sharing….I had a bit of excess round the edges 3mths later I am looking pretty ripped. People compliment me most days and I feel great. The thing is its just really good to get new ideas and then try them out.
You keep me motivated when I could take the day off and eat some fat…..Just kidding. Those days are gone, I am totally committed to this new lifestyle and at 51 I can look forward to a younger healthier future cheers man your the best.

Mick

Mitch

Great info. I like the mini heart rate spikes 3 times a day. I think that is what I need to do.

Jim

Hey Dr. K! WHat can I say? Another Homerun! You can do this ALL day! Don’t dismay…Dr. K is is on the way! To stardom that is! Have a great day!

This is great. In the middle of week three of DEFL and just realising the need for this synergy.Body telling head? One question; my workouts are in the morning, hence my cheat day will mainly follow workout.Should i plan the cheat day exercises for the following day?

Louise Knapp

I loved the video. It gives me hope for fat loss without spending my whole life working out or counting calories.

Dean

Awesome advice!

Ray

Thanks, Dr K.
I really think you’re on it with the muscle balance. For a guy in his 40′s it makes a ton of sense. The toughest thing for me is diet and stretching.I look forward to learning more.
thanks again,
Ray

AB

Great simple and effective tips. A plan with stated goals is most effective.

AB

Bryan

Great stuff Dr. K. I’m Radu for my spiked set!

Ros

this is what i need- all of it, cant wait to hear more and start spiking during the day.

thanks for you enthusiasm and breaking it down for us so it all makes sense.

Rene Fernandez

Hi Dr. K:
As usual, great ideas and most important very pragmatic, easy to apply. Thanks for everything.

Rene

Lisa

Looking forward to hearing more. I am loving the exercises so far and not having to spend an hour a day to get in shape!

Frank A

Dr K,

Here is what I’ve been doing:

1. Did DEFL 2.0 twice and in the lasat week of FPFL 2.0
2. GOing more raw in food – carbs at the office is the challenge!
3. I look in the mirror in the AM nad PM – good visual goal reminder – I do the best I can in each moment (when I remember!)
4. Spend 10 min AM and PM on a cellerciser and incorporated the 3-exercise mini set you did – burpee, diagonal chop and forward lunge, and jump squat with burst.
5. FPFL, the length part is primarily full range of motion.

Looking to see the new stuff.

Thanks

rebecca

Mary West

Absolutely AWESOME Dr K, it is good to get back into the “swing” of things, I can hardly wait to get started.
I am a life-time member of the DEFL, but had to quit due to illness for several months.
Now I am BACK, and raring to go but at a slower pace than before ( I turned 81 in December ) , now watch my steam……

Roberta

I have heard my practitioners recomend this to patients but I never thought of using it myself…

no idea why but I will definately give it a try as I am currently fighting a pleatue…

Glenn

Always looking for new ways to improve exercise and diet. Thanks for your help!

Brett

Dr. K is a wealth of info and adds common sense to the excercise sea of information. Keep it up Dr. K.

my pleasure, Jason!

thanks for commenting and your enthusiasm! it’s YOU who makes this fun and awesome :-)

you bet, Ryan – thanks for stopping by!

Manuel – I’m so proud of you, compadre. Felicitaciones del corazon.

Seriously – way to go!

That’s a good point, Seth… but often times a worthwhile break – should fit into lunch time… which, by the way, helps cortisol and fat loss. Skipping a mid-day break hurts concentration levels, increases stress, etc. I’m not always perfect about this one, but it’s important to keep in mind.

Let us know how it goes…

Hey Emily,

Very glad to help you!

More to come on this… you guys are doing great on comments – keep it up and I’ll be back with a lot more great info for you tomorrow :-)

you bet it does, Denise. ‘Functional’ flexibility is the key – this is done through properly choosing exercises that balance muscles. Most people stretch the wrong way… but there’s a better answer. We’ll talk more about it.

You’re welcome, Carlos.

So glad to hear you’re loving ASG – awesome.

Keep up the phenomenal work and please keep us posted on your results. Accountability breads results.

have a great day,

-k

haha! Thanks Isabelle – you’ll get there. I appreciate your kind words, and I’m here for you.

You’re welcome, Elizabeth! Of course you’ll get there – stay tuned this week – I’ve got some awesome solutions for you.

you bet, Erik!

Thanks for your kindness and trust.

speak soon,

-k

you’re welcome Ollie!

Great to hear from you… and even cooler that you’re spreading the wealth to your niece :-)

you bet they will, TJ.

You’re very welcome!

ASG is all about taking away that belly flab. Yes, conquer your mind and you’ll conquer any fat loss goal. I personally guarantee it.

You’re awesome, by the way.

hey Eric,

Awesome dedication so far. Don’t penalize yourself for nutritional mistakes. Instead, reward yourself for short-term success. It’s contagious.

Plus, this week, we’ll talk about some really cool and easy to follow nutritional strategies that should give you that “push” you’re looking for.

hey Moi (the great),

Stay tuned, my friend. Glad you asked! I’m putting together a video for you now…

You’re welcome Karla!

Thanks for your trust in me – can’t wait to see you hit all of your goals! please keep us posted.

rock it,

-k

You’re welcome, Sanne, Dolores, Sandi, and Daniel.

Keep up your enthusiasm – you’re awesome. Just win, ok?

Very glad to hear this, Terence. That’s what this is all about. Please be sure to let others know so they can benefit too (and I can make even better use of my time) – thanks!

You’re welcome, Mariko!

(can’t wait to get to NZ – that place looks amazing!)

You’re welcome, Maria. Welcome to the club.

We’re all here for you – be sure to ask questions up here as they come up…. We’ll help you :-)

You’re welcome, Robyn!

Please keep us posted :-)

You’re welcome, Kathy!

It’s a pleasure working with you and being your coach :-)

You’re welcome, Lisa. Be sure to check back tomorrow!

You’re sweet, Ana. Thanks!

Susan

You keep it real and keep it motivational. Thank you for all you do to help so many. :)

The spiking mini-sets…can you mix those up? Or are there only so many different ones you can do? Just wondering. I’m pretty new at this… Thanks

Love the info so far, great help in losing weight and gaining muscle. Feeling better and watching my diet. Regarding the learning to consume cabs and burn them…Are we still limiting our carb intake?
Thx much

Sonia

Looks good. I have finally started seeing results. Did 4 weeks of DEFL 2.0 then switched to the Kettlebell workouts for a week because I was so busy and it’s easier to follow! I was loving the workouts even before results but I love them more with results!
Thanks!

Alicia

Dr. K,
Your confident and energetic presentation are enough to help my motivation to apply these steps to my life. I had that kind of energy not too long ago and with your help, I will again. Thx

You always have great information, Dr. K. Sometimes the stuff overwhelms me as I’ve never heard it before. Love your energy. Thanks.

Lisa F Shomaker

Greetings Dr K,

I’m in the process of opening a interval, metabolic, Kettlebell training center, “3D Gold Fitness” in North Carolina . I incorporate alot of the 3M triple method , I would love to have more info with more if the movements you teach , and also can you superset with these movements or is it better to keep with single movements. Do you have a chart or graph showing the potential fat burn with structured routines? One more question : what is your opinion of whey isolate or blend vs soy, other than some people can not tolerate soy, any pointers and advice would be greatly appreciated. Lisa in Burlington , N.C.

Ray

I wish there was another way to get the information other than through Videos because where I live my option (financially) for gaining access is through Dial-Up ! With the slow access that I have to use viewing Videos is out of the question so I have to miss out on a lot of info. Oh well I guess that’s my loss. Ray

Hamsa

Like the sound of the heart rate spiker mini sets… sounds do-able to find short amounts of time to do something to spike up my heartrate; can’t wait for the examples!

As a brand new 60 year old, I know I need to start increasing my health. I was an athlete in my younger days but after a serious illness 10 years ago I have lost my edge. I have enjoyed being on your email list and you have great videos. They are clear and concise. I am a massage therapist and see many people with injuries caused by misinformation about correct exercising. Your videos provide information about how to use the body correctly, decreasing the potential for injury. Keep up the great information spread!!!

lorraine

Gary

I’ m interested in muscle balance, I had it when I was immersed in martial arts training. I hope muscle memory doesn’t fade as quickly as mental memory!

Dr. K,
I am working on exercising every day for 30 days to make it a habit. Things are going well so far, one week in, I am also working on positive talk and some days are rougher than others. I am nervous to take my first set of measurements for inches and wt., in case I don’t see a difference and go off course due to disappointment. I hope I can stay motivated. Thanks for all of your great tips and videos, they are a great help.

Haley

With trying to balance kids, work, and time with the mrs, there is not a lot of time left for me. Your enthusiasm is infectious and your workouts are priceless.

I am also interested in how to line up your program with Joel’s new Extreme Fat Loss Diet. I would rather use your exercises then learn new ones to add to his nutrition program.

Great program

Teresa Werner

I’ve had this since the first part of January and to be frank I have no idea where to even start. When I look at the exercises I can tell that I can’t do them. So I guess I just better start walking and hope that helps. I feel bewildered. It seems like if I was already in shape it would be do-able. It’s the end of January; I feel motivated but clueless.

Kate

Am gradually getting closer to putting everything together in a way I know I will be able to stick to (I have a tendency to be overambitious initally and then lose heart). Thank you.

Thanks agian your a star keep up the good work.

Tiger Koehn

Thanks, Affirmations as to having already accomplished your goal is is the key, the “Allowing” factor where you actually allow your goal to manifest is to have a really positive emotion behind the affirmations. If you do not have a positive emotion ie; POSITIVE ENERGY..ie the physics of the emotional energy, the goal will not manifest. THE KEY IS ..FEELING GOOD when you see yourself already having accomplished the goal you set….then……..the goal is already reached and you WILL accomplish your goal. It will manifest….

Thanks also for all your “Triple Fa Loss Vids. They work great. Can’t wait to hear about the “Spike” through out the day routine.

Thanks again

Tiger K

Nancy A

Thanks for all the energy and wisdom! I’m getting stronger but not losing pounds, and only losing inches very slowly. Looking forward to trying the spikers. Would getting 7-8 hours of sleep (instead of 4-6) make the difference?

Amy

Hi Dr. K,
I loved doing your FTFL Program. Don’t have Double Edge Fat Losss, but have the workout builder ASG workout builder. I know there is no way to spot reduce, but what are the best exercises to tone thighs and glutes?

I love using spiker mini sets as an exercise strategy throughout my day. It’s easier to get motivated to do a session that takes so little time, and the metabolic boost produces amazing results.

Great info, once again, Dr. K!
I’ve been using this 4 week program as my “spring tune-up” for 2 years now and still learn more from your current posts and webinars. It helps to be reminded of the foundational concepts as well as the tips and tricks to put into play for the best results. I always get comments about the workout when I do it at the gym – just sent someone new to your website this morning!

This is good information. I was wondering if you could ellaborate a bit more on the nutritional portion of that video, in particular the carbs you were speaking of.

Thank you!

Kerry

Thanks for the inspiration Dr. K. With your help I am going to take 20 years off this 61 year old body and achieve the best physical condition of my life.

Chris J

I’m trying sooooo hard…. I haven’t exercised in years and it’s taking me wayyyy longer than I had anticipated. Mostly because I got side tracked so many times. Now I’m starting over from scratch. One small step at a time. By the way…
I just turned 64 years old. So I feel anything I do, is that much closer to being the best I can be. Plus…want you to know…you’re really cute.

Chris J

Oh yes….forgot to mention…I’m a female ; )

deserthi

64 years old and lost 24 pounds in the last two months. Your the best Dr K.

drew

I’ve tried so many plans but this one makes the most sense with the best results!

Briana

Awesome tips!!! My problem is always with staying committed to an exercise program. I always start off with a “yes I can” attitude and after a couple weeks of working out 5 days a week, something in my life will throw me off track and allow me to miss a day or so. Once that happens, I lose motivation and that one day turns into weeks of none to little exercise. I really think setting goals and actually writing them down will help me so so much. At least, I hope so. :) Thanks!

elyse leifer

I listened to your five tips and must say that your enthusiasm really does show through, and since I experience an incredibly similar pattern of behavior as the most recent commenter (completely gung ho the first two weeks, then I don’t see the results I feel I deserve and I lose my motivation and commitment and give up for a day which turns into weeks and then I have regained anything I lost plus usually more). I have never truly made use of affirmations, but think that could help. I also like the idea of three short heart rate spike sessions.

Tina

a transcript would be nice for those of us that cant view video :)

Foster

Dr. K’s emails and videos are getting more effective and practical. Thanks and keep it up!

Deb A

Have been using DEFL and slowly losing, so looking forward to speeding things up. Sometimes I just seem to lack energy, so don’t know how I’ll go with spiker sets!

Ruth Armstrong

Sorry just sounded like a lot of the same ole to me.

Diane Lingenfelter

Good suggestions, thanks! I need to start slow with bum knees….

Deb Paulin

Hi Dr. K! I have been following your videos and advice for about 6 months now. I just want to say thank you for all your hard work and dedication to fitness. I have lost about 18 lbs. and over 4″ in my mid section by following your principles. Lots of love!!

Lauree Fletcher

I’m still in the early stages of trying to figure out how to use all the information being thrown at me. Feels overwhelming, but I’m not giving up yet.

Love the information. Awesome material.
